Great bagels, friendly staff, and conveniently located.
The location itself is really nice and they have a wide variety of bagels. The only criticism as noon american is i would say is the menu. It is not really clear how and what you can order
I love the jalapeño bagels here, but they've been sold out a few times when I visited later in the day. The sandwiches are a tasty weekend breakfast or lunch option.
Amazing bagel company! Definitely a good breakfast, get the sausage egg and cheese and enjoy heaven but after a long wait time.
This place just totally rocks. Great bagels that remind me of New York, inventive breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and a great space to eat inside or outside. Each time I go, I end up buying bagels to take home. Highly recommend for weekend mornings!
Good bagels, but the price is nuts! I'd rather get two dozen decent bagels than a half dozen of their bagels. Sticker shock big time, for a freakin' BAGEL.
A small storefront in Jack London Square. Everyone waited out front (might suck on a rainy day). Looks like they are expanding into the area next door. They are closed on Tuesday, and it is Cash only! Breakfast bagel for 5.50, with good breakfast bagels.
Awesome Bagels at a hip spot. Try the housemade corn beef.
I love the "afternoon delight" (salt bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and strawberry jam) add bacon. Best Thing Ever.
Good bagel! Nice people working. Good music! Good chocolate chip cookie!
My bagel tasted good. The coffee was good. What more could you ask for?
They're bagles and breakfast sandos are excellent. Don't miss out on their chocolate chip cookies, they are legondary.
Very good bagels. I don't recommend getting anything with garlic toasted: the garlic will taste slightly burnt. All sandwich ingredients are top notch. I would guess the smears are, too, but we haven't tried any yet.
One bagel sandwich can easily be two meals. They are epic
I don't want to tell you about the muffins here because I really love them and they only seem to make about a dozen per day. So just go with the bagels -- they're all great -- and leave the muffins for me.
If you want your order messed not once, not twice, but three times, this place is for you. Bagel was good though. Don't go here if you're in a hurry.
Great little bagel shop that is blowing up! Lines form shortly after opening, so get there early. Pricing is inconsistent: I get the same thing every time I go and have paid anywhere from $4.50 to $7 for a bagel sandwich.
The bagels are definitely everything they're cracked up to be, but the surprise hit was the chocolate chip cookie. Not to be missed.
Homemade bagel dogs are always a good reason to stop here.
Finally a decent Bagel shop in Oakland! Great sandwiches, great spreads, cool and funky. Great work guys.note: the hours listed are not correct. They are open at 8am.
Awesome little bagel shop by Jack London Square. I happen to find this place by looking out My window at the Z Hotel. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and outstanding quality Bagels.
Easily competes with the best New York bagel I've ever had. These guys do it right. Shout out to Ryan for putting the team on his back. A true hustler.
I eat here every Saturday around 10-11am. Wonderful staff and food. Hard to get a good Salt Bagel in the east Bay, but authentic has me covered!
Superior bagels. Just the right amount of chew paired with a gentle sourdough makes ABC my favorite. Try the jalapeño bagel!
One of my top 2 favorite bagel spots on the west coast. If you're looking for traditional, they have it. If you're feeling adventurous, you absolutely must try the Lox Monsta (I recommend adding the jalapeño cream cheese). Also, always perfect orange juice.
Excellent food and service.
Great spot to pick up a quick breakfast and coffee you can walk around Jack London Square with. I usually get the bagel with cream cheese or the breakfast sandwhiches and haven't had issues with either. Their cold brew coffee is awesome too!
I like this place because they got the everything bagel which is the most tasty begal on Earth. When you stare into it, it literally has everything in it.
I had one of the speciality sandwiches: the Sea Beast. It was good, but overall I recommend just a beagle with shmeer
Found this place on Google maps, needed a place close to 880 to jump back into morning commute. Ordered egg, bacon and cheese on garlic bagel, and my favorite to try at all bagel places; cream cheese, cucumber, red onion, tomato and bacon. Both super tasty! Best part? Order was piping hot when I opened at toll booth (7 min away), my order was ready 3 min after i ordered?! And no long lines or strollers hitting me in my shins! No more Noah's!
The bagel and spread were great, 5 stars for those. The dirty chai latte was ok, felt like it was a bit burnt, but pretty good.
Always a tasty, not-to-chewy bagel. The people behind the counter are way friendly and seem to always be smiling. I've been coming here since that room had just a carpet !! I'm glad they are park of Oakland.
Just what the name says - authentic bagels with a proper chew. These are the best bagels in the bay area. Bonus points for fresh squeezed OJ and tasty bagel sandwiches, from the whitefish to the corned beef to the bagel dogs.
Great bagel great taste. Great stuff. Though one time i was served burned bagel.
A local favorite - fresh bagels made in house! If you get any bagel sandwich (breakfast or lunch) and eat it there it'll come with yummy house made bagel chips. Also, you might be lucky enough to catch live music!
Bagels are decent, but not fantastic. What really disappointed was the brewed coffee. It was nasty, 'diner coffee' quality. For a trendy place in an area where great coffee is easy to source, this is just unacceptable.
Good food, good service, good music, even the bathroom is nice. Only downside, the lines can be longish sometimes (but they usually move fast).
Straight-forward, tasty bagels and sandwich combos. Bar and table seating. Yummy. Quality ingredients and resultant taste.
Friendly staff that greets you and get you going for the day. Short wait time no matter how busy. I come here once a week usually on Fridays after free coffee a block over at Bicycle Coffee Co. Couple of seats out front, but now they've open a sit down cafe next door. Same goods from next sold here with added coffee and tea. Top three places in Oakland for bagels.
Their bagels are great! And they just added new items to the menu that I'm really happy about. Got The Dank yesterday and I'm about to try the Sea Beast today
Good bagles usually.sometimes it's just too much and you can feel the oil attacking your body :-0 . But they have good flavors for a little overpriced charge. Worth trying for sure.
Sign on door says closed for the next month. Walked a half mile. Thanks
Best bagel in Oakland, can't miss it! Try a bagel sandwich or just a plain with cream cheese!
Excellent bagels made on the premises. The fried egg sandwich is awesome. Only drip. Coffee and space is decent but there's also seating outside. Definitely one of the best bagels around.
It was great when it was opened. It now looks like it's closed for good, although the owners aren't saying that for certain. But it's pretty clear to me they're closed.
Best bagels around. The toppings/seeds whatever you want to call them are all around the bagel, not just on top. I highly recommend the bacon breakfast sandwich.
Excellent east coast style bagels and terrific breakfast sandwich options.
Hopped off Amtrak after a recent cross country trip from NYC, and headed directly here, a few blocks away, on my walk back home. A perfect schmear of the East Coast in the East Bay!
I am no bagel expert, but these are definitely some delicious bagels!
I've been following and supporting the owners of ABC for a long time, since it was just a storefront and a kick starter. Great to see how far they have come. The only issue now is the long wait for a bagel in the morning and the higher prices. I get it though - they have to make a living too! So no more $5 breakfast bagels, more like $7.50 or more. But I still love them and have one when possible - however on the weekend, be ready to wait!
